Simply click Sign Up and provide necessary details and click register. You will receive a confirmation via e-mail and click verification link to access as a registered member.

How to post advertisement to sell/rent my property?

Once you create an account and become a registered member, immediately you can start posting advertisements. Go to Post Your Ad and select the type of post and select property type and fill the designated form with necessary details and content. That’s it.

How much time it will take to appear my ad in the website?

Ceylon Property.lk has a designated division for quality assurance and content management. It will take from 1 hour to 24 hours to appear your advertisement and if you have any concern you can always shoot us an e-mail to support@ceylonproperty.lk.

What are the Charges for advertising in CeylonProperty.lk?

Ceylonproperty.lk is free platform for real estate stakeholder. So it’s absolutely free for anyone. Simply create an account by signing up and start posting ads.

How many pictures can I upload per advertisement?

You can upload minimum 2 and up to 10 pictures per advertisement. The pictures can be JPG, GIF or TIFF format. We recommend keeping the picture size to less than 1 MB, however larger pictures will be auto re-sized when you upload. If the image upload is taking too long then it could be due to the size of the pictures and we recommend uploading pictures one by one in such situations.

Can I pay online for an advertisement?

Yes you can, we are registered through pay here and you are more than welcome to do you payments securely through our payment gateway.

How can I put my advertisement in the front page of the category?

You will be getting 100 Top-Ups for your advertisement and can use that to get your advertisement to the front of your advertised categories list.

Can I sell/rent my property through you?

You can advertise your property on the website. We are not real estate agents or agency and we don’t handle any aspect of the buying and selling process. We merely list the advertisement and provide an online market-place for buyers and seller.

If I am an Estate Agent/Broker, Can I post my properties CeylonProperty.lk?

Yes, you can sign up and create an account as an agent and start advertising your properties for absolutely free. Once you register our technical division will contact you for confirmation and if you want to inquire more details please contact us for more details or request a call back via by shooting an e-mail via support@ceylonproperty.lk

How to recover forgotten Password or an Account?

Head to the CeylonProperty.lk sign-in page and click the “Forgot Password” link. Click “Send verification” and verify it by clicking the link which will be sent to your e-mail.

How do I edit/delete my Property Advertisement?

You can login to your account and click on the My Ads and select the advertisement you want to edit and then click on the EDIT button to do the changes accordingly. We maintain high standard of quality assurance and even when you edit your advertisement you have to wait till the approval of our quality assurance and content management team.

How to safeguard myself from False and Lucrative Advertisers?

Our dedicated Quality Assurance and Content Management division maintain high standards and immediately ban user who violate our terms and conditions or practice misleading lucrative advertising. All viewers have the ability to report an advertisement if he/she find it misleading and we advice all website visitors to protect themselves when buying or selling a property by doing a thorough background check of the buyer or seller. Always use the standard Sri Lankan Property Law procedures and Agreement Signing when practicing a business or transaction.
